CR 628272 (2019), before the Honorable Michael Russo, multiple charges of Rape and Kidnapping, with DNA connecting Defendant G.S. to the crime, was tried before a jury until a negotiated plea was reached on trial day #4, whereupon the Defendant was offered and did plea to charges of simple assault and unlawful restraint, misdemeanors of the first and third degree respectively. He was given probation and has no sex offender registration requirement.
