Case No. 1:14CR288(2014). Defendant Anton Matthews was Indicted and arrested for being a Felon in Possession of a gun in violation of Title 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1). Defendant Matthews was detained until a detention hearing was conducted a week later at which time Defense Counsel La Rue successfully convinced the United States that they had the wrong suspect, and Defendant Matthews was released. The United States formally Moved to Dismiss these Charges on October 22, 2014 ending the prosecution of Mr. Matthews.
