Sixth District Court of Appeals for Ohio, Case No. L-19-1047, Lucas County Court of Common Pleas, Case No. CR0201802137. Appeal on behalf of Defendant Ronald Moss, Jr. who was sentenced to 11 years for a Major Drug Offender trafficking case in cocaine. Because we were able to convince Appellant Moss was not given a fair trial due to the introduction of hearsay statements in the form of jail calls used against him at trial, the Court of Appeals overturned his conviction and remanded the case to the trial court for a new trial. Edward R. La Rue is currently litigating the matter before the trial court at this time.
